Cape Town - TV personality Somizi Mhlongo threw his mom, actress Mary Mhlongo, a 79th birthday party and it was one to remember.
Thanks to the last episode of Living The Dream With Somizi season four, fans of the star got a glimpse into how the Idols SA judge honoured his mother.
He surprised her with R79 000 and explained that since she was celebrating 79 years, each thousand represents the number of years she’s been alive.
Both Somizi and his mother have had a lot to celebrate this year, with Somizi finally tying the knot with his fiancé Mohale in a lavish African wedding last week Saturday.
