Somizi’s workout DVD goes gold

Cape Town - Local radio host Somizi has announced that his DVD, titled Grind With Somizi, has gone gold in South Africa.

The entertainer made the announcement on his Instagram with a post, with the following caption: "Yes yes yes. We have gone Gold. Thanks for the support. Making me the first South African exercise DVD to go gold. Now soon to be platinum. Ngiyabonga. Check out more info for the Durban leg of GRIND WITH SOMIZI this sat (sic)".

According to RiSA (The Recording Industry of South Africa) a DVD is certified gold when it sells 10 000 units.
