Johannesburg - Celebrity wedding planner and former actress Sophie Ndaba and businessman husband Max Lichaba spent their weekend on a romantic getaway in Mauritius – hunting for the perfect venue for their wedding day.
As a wedding planner for over 15 years who’s put together receptions across the globe Sophie shared the difficulty of looking for a venue for her own big day.
“I have to say picking a venue for myself and hubby has been a tough task. Definitely, need help,” she said.
Sophie and Max have decided to spend a few months travelling in search of the perfect location. The couple are asking their social media followers to help them find the perfect place from their top 10 fave countries. “As we travel the world in the next months we must decide. Help us to pick the perfect venue.”
The couple met through Max’s brothers, who have been friends with Sophie’s for a few years. During a family gathering Max asked Sophie out on a date but she refused. At the next family lunch Sophie was invited and encouraged by Max’s family to give it a go and she took a chance.
Last year Sophie and Max eloped to Italy. Now they’re on the hunt for the perfect spot for their white wedding so keep an eye out as they share their location-scouting trips on social media.
