Sophie Ndaba's daughter dismisses 'death claims'

Cape Town - Rumours circulated on social media on Tuesday that local actress Sophie Ndaba has died.

Speaking to The Juice Sophie's daughter, Shallon Ndaba, dismissed reports, saying: "She is very much alive."

Sophie is best-known for playing the role of Queen Moroka on the SABC 1 soapie, Generations.  

The original source of the rumours are still unknown.

Expresso Morning Show, who was believed to have reported on the 46-year-old actress' death quickly dismissed claims, tweeting: "The rumours about Sophie Ndaba's death is false and we did not report on any news about her on the show today."
