South African gold medal winner Wayde van Niekerk gets engaged

Cape Town - South African Olympian Wayde van Niekerk proposed to his girlfriend Chesney Campbell and she said yes!

The local sprinter posted a video with the simple text "She said yes" and a picture of his fiancee's hand with a ring on it. 

Wayde and Chesney saw the sprinter's favourite soccer team live in action on Wednesday and got to meet the superstars in the team as well, so it has been a week of fantastic moments for the pair.
