Tamaryn Green embraces her first day as Miss SA: A new dawn is rising

Johannesburg – On Monday morning Tamaryn Green woke up to her first official day as Miss South Africa 2018.

The medical student, who was crowned the winner of the pageant at the Sun Arena in Pretoria on Sunday, was off to an early start as she shared a message with fans at the break of dawn.

“Woke up with a heart so full and content. Last night a little girl’s dream became her reality. South Africa I dedicate the next 365 days in service of you. For my people, with my people, together,” she wrote on social media.

The 23-year-old went on to thank fans for their messages of support.

Aside from being crowned Miss South Africa, Tamaryn also holds the title of Miss Universe South Africa, which will see her represent the country at the next Miss Universe pageant.

For now though the beauty queen will get to indulge in R3 million worth of prizes as part of her Miss SA package, which includes a brand-new car.
