Thando Thabethe leaves Generations: The Legacy

Cape Town - Radio and TV personality Thando Thabethe annouced that she will be leaving Generations: The Legacy

Thando joined the cast of the revamped Generations: The Legacy as the free-spirited Nolwazi Buzo.  

In a statement released by the SABC, Thando says: "My years at Generations: The Legacy has been nothing but amazing. What a privilege it's been to part of this amazing family. Playing the role of Nolwazi has been nothing short of life-altering. I have learnt so much about myself and the incredible art of acting and I'm forever indebted to the producers, directors, writers, cast and crew and most especially the viewers."

She added that it was not an easy decision to make but that she'll take with her "great relationships" and a "better understanding and appreciation" for her craft.  

Executive Producer, Mfuni Vundla praised Thando as "one of South Africa's most talented TV actors". 

Thando will be on air until January, 2018.
