Cape Town - While South Africa's first-ever bachelor, Lee Thompson's search for love didn't have a fairytale ending, the twenty-four ladies in the house formed friendships that would transcend the high gates of The Bachelor mansion.
At the end of the 12-week journey, Lee gave his final rose to Johannesburg based makeup artist Gina Myers, but it was later revealed that despite several attempts, the couple could not make their relationship work and had ended their romance before the final episode aired on TV.
One might think that vying for the attention of the same man, would have caused friction in the house, but we enjoyed watching the blossoming friendships just as much as the extravagant dates.
Despite Jozaan Digue leaving Mauritius with a broken heart, the Pretoria-based lawyer and Gina remained close friends even after the final episode aired.

After the Women Tell All episode aired, Gina posted a selfie with Jozaan taken in Mauritius with the caption: "No matter what... we'll be Forever friends.(sic)"
In the photo, to which Jozaan replied: "forever and ever," Gina kisses Jozaan on the cheek.
Another beautiful friendship to come from The Bachelor SA mansion is between Jacqueline Ramos-Pinto and Mbali Mkhize.
The pair have been inseparable since saying their goodbyes at the house, often being photographed together.
"I believed that I might find love, I had no idea of just how much," Jacqueline wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself grabbing a cocktail with Mbali, Edith Mooketsi and Nontombi Kuzwayo.
Mbali often does Jacqueline's makeup, after which, Jacqueline will send a special shout-out to her "bestie" on Instagram!
