There's a lasagne pizza and everything is right with the world

Cape Town - The Col'Cacchio Celebrity Chef Series pizzas for 2016/2017 have been announced and yes, there is a lasagne pizza.

Zola Nene, Claire Allen and Neill Anthony pulled out all the stops and created three mouthwatering Celebrity Chef masterpieces that will be available for the next six months on the Col'Cacchio summer menu.

If you're having a bad day, enter pizza heaven here.

The Phat Cat (named after cartoon cat, Garlfield, obviously) is an authentic play on lasagna: mozzarella, beef bolognaise and béchamel sauce.

Creator Claire Allen is known as 'The Foodie in Love' and is a multi-talented food entertainer, entrepreneur and blogger. Claire's love of food, and desire to have her love grow into a thriving business, started in 2014 with her entry into the third season of MasterChef South Africa, soon after that she launched her blog, Food is Love.

And now, she can add: maker of the lasagne pizza to her long list of accolades.

Here it is:

Visit any Col'Cacchio pizzeria from November 2016 to April 2017, the duration of their summer menu, to get your grubby hands on a slice of cheesy bliss.

R5 from every Celebrity Chef Series pizza sold will be donated to the Children's Hospital Trust, fundraiser for the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital, which treats children from around the country as well as kids all over Africa. #PizzaforCharity
