"I have been in ICU for the past days, this has been the most traumatic experience of my life. I was so close to losing my life, but my God said 'Not yet my child. Not yet.' I am still in shock and I still can’t stop crying. I cannot thank my God enough for giving me a second chance to live. God protected me and my siblings from a very tragic accident, I am filled with gratitude," she wrote.

"I am still in ICU and recovering. Some days are easier than others but each day is a blessing. I don’t know what I would do without my family and friends @mami_manaledi_diale @rebeccagarande @ole.d_za @its_lerato_moloi @tumilinx @gbangucci @mantic_10 , ous Kgomotso, mama Vuyiswa le papa, Dineo, Tanya and Funeka who have been coming to see me every other day. Their love and prayers keep me going. I don’t even know how to even begin thanking my mother @lerato_ld and my stepdad for all that they’ve done for me during this unpleasant time. I am surrounded by so much love, it’s truly heart-warming. I also have the best and kindest nurses, physio therapist, doctors and psychologists taking care of both my physical and mental health," she added.

Although it is not clear what caused the accident, pictures showed that the car she was travelling in had flipped over and was damaged by the impact.

She received a flood of get-well messages from fans and fellow celebritie including Bontle Modiselle, Bahumi and Khanyi Mbau.

"NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER!!!! Greatest is the God we serve!!! Praying for you and your family mamas," commented Bontle Modiselle

"But God???? I’m so sorry Love.. You have angels working on overtime every time may God continue to protect you and your family, and a speedy recovery to you all. Much Love Lee, added Bahumi.

"Speedy recovery my doll.. you are healed we love you," wrote Khanyi Mbau.

The 26-year-old concluded the post by urging her fans to enjoy life to the fullest and not take one second for granted. She then thanked God, her doctors, family and everyone who has been by her side during this time.

"I am protected by a higher power and I know I am going to be okay. Please do not take your life for granted, it might sound corny but please live your life to the fullest because tomorrow is never guaranteed. Life is so fragile, we’re truly living on borrowed time. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for another chance to do this life thing again," she wrote.
