Tol Ass Mo chats to us about his new SA's Got Talent gig

Johannesburg – SA’s Got Talent is back with a brand new season and a with it, a brand new host – comedian Tol Ass Mo.

Mo, real name Mongezi Mahlangu, joins judges Shado Twala, DJ Fresh, and Jamie Bartlett, as the host of the show’s seventh season.

The Juice got to chat to Mo about his new gig.

What can we expect from you as the new host of SA’s Got Talent?

You can expect a different side of Mo. I show a lot of compassion on the show. I’m a very outgoing, energetic kind of guy. What you can expect from me is being the number one supporter of all the contestants on the show.

What do you like most about the show?

I would definitely say it’s like the audience. The guys that watch the show, they watch it with so much passion. I remember watching it with my family members. You know you must just see how everybody just clenches their teeth and just holds on to each other and screams at the TV. And even the guys that come to the live shows. Those are the guys that I can’t wait for you to see.

What would you say to convince people who have not seen the show before to tune in?

It’s not a singing competition. It’s a talent show so basically anything under the sun goes. If you are good at doing something and you believe you’re better at doing that particular thing than anyone else, this is the show for you to come exhibit those stuff.

Do you have a secret talent?

I do have a secret talent. I’m the dopest and the meanest Playstation player that ever lived. I’m a gamer, I’m an insane IT boffin. I’m into gadgets and all that stuff. That is my talent.

If you could enter SA’s Got Talent, what would your act be?

I would try and set a world record for Pac-man. Go up to like level 10.

SA’s Got Talent season 7 premiers on Sunday 4 September at 18:05 on e.tv.
