Tol Ass Mo quits comedy: 'It's time for me to move on to other things'

Johannesburg – 28 July will mark Tol Ass Mo's final comedy show.

This is according to a post the comedian shared on Instagram. 

"I want to say thank you to my wife @mrs_mome for making me the man I am today for making me a father too. Thank you to all my brother's in comedy, thank you to all my fans and all those who supported me along this journey [sic]," Mo wrote. 

After 15 years in the industry, the comedian says he feels that it's time for him to move on. 

"It's been a good 15 years of stand up with an Emmy nomination for best international comedy. Now it's time for me to move on to other things in my life."

Responding to a comment request from The Juice, Tol Ass Mo said: "Yes it's true I have officially retired my last show is on the 28th July at the Sun Arena called laugh it off where I will hand over the battern to other up and coming comedians. I'm venturing into being a fourth industrial revolutionist (sic)."
