Cape Town – You might not know her name yet but this contemporary artist, photographer and model has already been on Vogue.com with taste makers from across the world giving her props.
In the June 2016 issue of Destiny magazine the 20-year-old gives readers a closer look at her life and insight into what it means to be a youth, along with other power teens changing the world.
“How and where does one even begin to explain...? Thank you, thank you, thank you! Nothing is more exciting than to be a part of a generation that is shifting the ordinary; a millennial that is bravely shaping and narrating it's own narrative. Ranging with it's diversity, the youth of South Africa has inspired me from the get go. As much as our struggle(s) is/are no longer a common cause, what I've come to learn is that our individual voices of passion and unique talents merge to be a symbiosis to our benefit. What. A. Time. To. Be. Alive. Such an honor it was to meet one of the shakers of our time, @nelsonmakamo, the cover star of @destiny.man ?? I cannot forget to show love to the heads behind the making of history; the @destinyconnect team: @khanyidhlomo, @sheena0adams, @mpu_me / ph. @jacquesweyersstudio styl. @asandasizani ?? Thank you to you all for hearing and understanding our unique ability as the youth. This is a win for us all. Might I add: age shouldn't be the decipher or bewilderment of "making it", but taking the step to making your ideas an evolution (against all odds of society) is an achievement within itself! Rise and grind, and top of the morning to you to you all ?”
