Trevor Noah nominated for two NAACP awards

Cape Town - South African comedian and Daily Show host Trevor Noah has been nominated for two NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) awards for his book Born A Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood.

The American organisation has nominated Noah in the following categories: Outstanding Literary Work – Debut Author and Outstanding Literary Work – Biography/ Autobiography.

Winners of the awards will be announced during a two-hour event hosted by Anthony Anderson, which will broadcast live on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in America.
