Cape Town - Comedian Tumi Morake and actor Mpho Osei-Tutu celebrated their 9-year wedding anniversary on Wednesday and the couple seem to be as madly in love as they were when they got married.
Taking to Instagram to celebrate, Tumi took a walk down memory lane by posting an image of herself and her husband on their wedding day.
In the picture, Tumi can be seen wearing a white wedding gown with a black hat while Mpho holds their wedding bouquet while rocking a black suit as they both goofily pose for the camera.
"Bon anniversaire mon amour @mphooseitutu 9 years and counting, [sic]" Tumi began the caption before quoting a Bible verse.
"Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Song of Solomon 8:6. [sic]'"
Mpho also posted a collage-picture of himself with Tumi with the words: “Do you know what today is?” and “It’s our anniversary”.
Although the couple is smitten with each other even after nine years of marriage, Tumi revealed in her book that things weren’t always as good between them, to a point where they nearly got a divorce.
But according to Move!, although things got really bad between the couple, they decided to go for marriage counselling instead.
