Johannesburg - Artist Lebani Sirenje has become a regular feature at celebrity funerals over the last few years.

Carry his canvas and paint, the artist, who also goes by the nickname Rasta because of his dreadlocks, is often seen trying to paint portraits of celebrities at their memorials.

But like at many other services before, it seems Twitter is not a fan of his work if the reaction to his latest work is anything to go by.

Attending the memorial service of the late ProKid, which is currently taking place in Newtown, Lebani showed off his interpretation of the late lyricist.

The rapper, born Linda Mkhize, died on 8 August after suffering a “severe seizure attack” while visiting a friend.

It’s not the first time that Rasta has been criticised his work, who can forget the uproar when he showed off this portrait of the late anti-apartheid icon Winnie Madikizela-Mandela?
