Twitter warms up to Khanyi and Somizi

Johannesburg – Seems some things do get better with time – according to Twitter, anyway. While fans were not happy with Metro FM’s new show, Whose Show Is It Anyway, on Monday, many seem to have changed their tune just 24 hours later.

Somizi, Kanyi Mbau, and Ntombi Ngcobo, endured a stream of negative comments after taking over Metro FM’s mid-morning slot from Moflava and Lerato Kganyago (read more on that here).

But after taking a day to get used to their new gig, it seems the team is improving already.

“Second days are always better, the edge and the nerves are better. We will imporove for you,” Khanyi tweeted in response to a fan.

Although the mean tweets are still making the rounds, a lot of fans have noted an improvement in the show.

Khanyi, who retweeted every mean comment about the show, even took the time to respond to a tweet mentioning a negative comment Nstiki Mazwai made in reference to an ANC gig where Mbau was billed to speak about “shaping our economy”.

“I love a vocal country, dialogue is healthy. Not everyone will love you and criticism is healthy. Noted,” Khanyi wrote.
