Waiting in line with Terry Crews and hugging Beyoncé - Trevor Noah explains the levels of fame in Hollywood

Johannesburg – After attending his first Academy Awards show on Sunday, and fooling the world with what could be called the inside joke of the year, Trevor Noah gave fans a recap of just how amazing the event and its numerous after-parties were.

In one of his Between The Scenes clips on YouTube, Trevor spoke about the Oscars saying: "I was in heaven. I was like, this is genuinely insane."

The comedian recalled attending the exclusive Vanity Fair after-party, joking that this is where the "levels of fame" in the industry became evident.

In the clip he tells his audience the story of how he waited in line with the likes of Terry Crews to enter the party when they were asked to move aside once Jennifer Lopez arrived.

But not only did Trevor get to mingle with A-listers at the Vanity Fair party, he also attended Beyoncé and Jay-Z's after party where he met Usher on the dance floor and bumped into Queen Bey herself.

"One moment I'm on the dance floor and I'm dancing cause DJ Black Coffee was there," he explained, saying that all of a sudden Usher joined them, putting them to shame with his incredible moves.

One of the highlights of his night though, was the moment Beyoncé walked up to him.

"This was the weirdest moment of my night and maybe my life. I will see where I categorise it. I'm on the dance floor, everyone's having a good time, and then Beyoncé starts walking in my direction. So I'm like, oh, I should move, right? Cause it's Beyoncé, where she is going is not to me," he says.

Turns out she was walking to him. According to Trevor, Beyoncé made a point of greeting everyone at her party. "You'd think she'd be sitting in a box waving. No, she's saying hi and she's really cool."
