Cape Town - Miss SA 2017 runner-up Adè van Heerden has chosen the Rose Parent Project as her Beauty with a Purpose initiative for Miss World 2017.
The Rose Parent Project involves people and families from the surrounding communities fostering mental patients from the Lentegeur hospital in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town.
Medical doctor Adè van Heerden will take part in the Miss World pageant in China in November.
The Beauty with a Purpose programme is a registered charity and a non-profit organisation associated with Miss World. It raises money and participates in humanitarian projects across the world.

Beauty with a Purpose is celebrated during the activities before the Miss World pageant. It awards the contestant with the most relevant and important charity project in her nation.
