AS IT HAPPENED: Akhumzi Jezile memorial service

Cape Town - Local presenter and producer Akhumzi Jezile is to be honoured at a memorial service in Randburg on Thursday.

Jezile died in a car accident near Queenstown in the Eastern Cape on Saturday morning. The same crash also claimed the lives of singer Siyasanga Kobese and actor Thobani Mseleni. 

A funeral service for the celebrated TV personality will take place on Saturday at 9:00 at the Rhema Bible Church. 

The procession will leave for the West Park Cemetery thereafter. (Read more here)
