Cape Town - It is no secret Boity Thulo’s spirituality is important to her, so it didn’t come as a shock that the TV personality went for a psychic reading – it’s the content of the reading that has fans up in arms.
In a trailer for FOX Life’s new show, Spirit Life Africa, psychic medium Cindy Kruger can be seen giving the former Club 808 presenter a psychic reading, saying, “I connect to relationships with you.”
“We have a lot of broken trust in relationships. Specifically to a "C" that you can’t trust,” she continued as Boity started to tear up.
Boity’s fans immediately jumped to the conclusion that the “C” Cindy was referring to was Boity’s ex-boyfriend, rapper Cassper Nyovest.
“I’m just waiting to hear what that “c” is because if they say Casper . . . games over,” @khanya_the_light wrote.
“A 'C' you can’t trust, mmmh are you thinking who I’m thinking lol,” another fan commented.
Although Boity says she was hesitant when approached by the channel to do the reading, the 27-year-old admits she’s happy she did it.
“This being my first experience with a medium of her kind, it was quite an enlightening reading. I took my mother with me and I feel like this moment was more for her than it was for me.”
The episode will air tonight on FOX Life, DStv channel 126, at 19:55 and we’ll be checking it out to see who the not-so-mysterious "C" could be.
