WATCH: Caspar recounts when his Tourette’s syndrome put him in danger on safari

Cape Town – International YouTube sensation - with South African roots – Caspar Lee has made a moving video talking about his struggles with Tourette’s syndrome. 

In the video Caspar recounts when he was on safari with his family and he couldn’t stop making sounds like a monkey. He goes on to talk about when an agitated elephant approached their vehicle, which refused to start and he couldn’t keep quiet because of the syndrome. 

According to Health24, Tourette's syndrome is “a neurological disorder characterized by repetitive, involuntary movements and vocalizations called tics.”
