Cape Town - Nigerian singer-songwriter Davido (25) has certainly raised the bar when it comes to bae gifts.

For his girlfriend Chioma Avril’s 23rd birthday Davido bought her a car, and not just any a car... a Porsche!

He took to social media to express just how much he loves and appreciates his Nigerian chef bae.

Posting a video of him gifting Chioma the luxurious ride, he captioned it: “I give my baby ASSURANCE!!! I love you baby!! WE IN THIS 4 LIFE!! ?????????????? @thechefchi !! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHIOM CHIOM !! FROM ME TO YOU!! I BOUGHT MY BABY A PORSCHE!!?? (sic)”

In the video, Davido excitedly repeats: “My baby got a Porsche man,” while a blushing Chioma in a gold dress leans on the car.

The car’s number plate is Assurance, which is also Davido’s latest single that happens to be a love song for Chioma, who even features in the music video.
