Johannesburg – If you’re part of the many South Africans who are under the impression that DJ Sbu and Mzekezeke are the same person, then get ready for a little confusion.
Posting a clip to Instagram from his show on radio station Massiv Metro, DJ Sbu can be seen sitting down with the mysterious Mzekezeke for an interview.
Of course, many fans weren’t buying it, claiming that the person in the orange jumpsuit and black balaclava is just stand-in actor.
“Chichirizing season is upon us!!!!! Breaking news: Exclusive: the king is back!!!! [sic]” DJ Sbu captioned the clip.
Sbu first made the announcement about Mzekezeke’s return in September, telling fans that the kwaito star would be performing over the festive season.
And although many have always alleged that the DJ himself is Mzekezeke, he has never confirmed reports.
