Johannesburg - Our favourite “Kicking Doctor”, Dr Malinga is a father again.

The Angilalanga Izolo singer posted a cute video of him holding his newborn son, Lingas Malinga. In the video he is singing a gospel tune for the little one, “I thank God for you my child, I will love you with all my heart”.

Speaking to Drum, an ecstatic Malinga gushed about his newborn son.

“I named him Lingas because I feel that he carries my legacy. I am extremely proud of him and I can’t wait to see what he will grow up to be.

He also added that his parenting style is extremely free and he wants his son to grow up to be anything that he wants to be and he will have his full support.

When asked how he will be celebrating the birth of his son, the singer said that as soon as his wife has recovered he will slaughter a goat and a cow to give thanks for his son.

Speaking about music, Dr Malinga said he currently has a new track out called Shebeleza and he is also working on a song with a Nigerian artist called Romeo and Juliet – which he dedicates to his wife.

He also added that he will not be performing as much because he wants to focus on his newborn.

The birth of his baby boy comes just over a month after the Kick Master launched his own brand of condoms, “Dr Malinga. Kick it safe”. Funny, much?

We can’t help but wonder what kind of personality Lingas will have; maybe he will be as extroverted as his father!
