Cape Town - Rapper Emtee recently posted an Instagram live in which he dissed fellow musician Cassper Nyovest.
In the video Emtee said that Cassper does not make good music and that he has no responsibilities.
“Your boy, what’s his name? That fat boy, what’s his name? He ain’t got no kid. He ain’t got no beat,” he said in the video.
“I got responsibilities, your favourite rapper ain’t got no sh*t going on. All these rappers jumping on gqom beats trying to rap. Man f**k all that sh*t. Busy, gqom here, gqom here. If you’re a rapper, you rap. If you’re a singer, you sing and if you play gqom then play gqom.”
A Twitter user recorded the video and posted it on Twitter where people – including Cassper Nyovest – responded to the video.
In a response to the video Cassper didn’t take the insults too seriously, saying: “This sh*t funny as f**k!!!! Someone please ask Emtee if he’s coming to Mabhida doe. We need him out to come entertain us!!! I’ll pay the full fee!!! [sic]”
