Johannesburg – After an incredible second season, Coke Studio went out with a bang, bringing you only the best in New. Original. Music.
RAW artist and vocalist Lisa Good stepped back in the studio for another fusion with four piece pop band Monark, big time jazz cat Max Vidima, and King Kotini, Riky Rick.
Joined by producer Ewald as well, the team soon learned that having seven creative minds in the same space can be difficult. After hitting a few stumbling blocks, they eventually came together to create their song, Spare A Little Love, a phenomenal electronic pop-rock song with an awesome feel-good vibe.
The episode ended with a bang as South Africa's very own Emtee rocked up at the Coke Studio Africa studios in Nairobi to do a major multi-national fusion alongside South African producer Maphorisa, heavy weight act Serge Beynaud from Côte d'Ivoire, Ugandan songstress Rema Namakula, Afro-Pop vocalist Yemi Alade from Nigeria, and this year’s African international superstar, American R&B singer Trey Songs.
The stars took to the stage to showcase their track, Follow Me, an eclectic mix of afro-pop and R&B flavours.
