Johannesburg – Legendary actor Forest Whitaker walked the red carpet in Johannesburg at the Godfather of Harlem screening on Thursday.
The star is in the country to promote the show, in which he portrays mob boss Ellsworth Raymond "Bumpy" Johnson.
Local stars attended the screening alongside Forest, extremely excited to meet the Hollywood icon.
Speaking to Channel24 on the night, Forest said he was overwhelmed with the positive welcome he has received from SA fans. "Since I've been in town, people are aware of a number of projects I've done before, so it's really nice to know that they're supportive and that they're there for you."
