WATCH: Karlien van Jaarsveld gets a nasty grass burn as she takes a tumble

Cape Town - Local singer Karlien van Jaarsveld took a nasty tumble when she tried to outrun a group of tweens.

While enjoying a farm holiday with her family, the Afrikaans musician decided to race the kids, but before she could get a good head start she stumbled over her feet!

And of course her brother, Bobby van Jaarsveld caught it all on camera.

Posting the video to Instagram, Karlien wrote: This is what happens when your feet are faster than your thighs."

"Can't remember when last I fell this hard," she added.

You're such a great sport, Karlien!
