WATCH: Ladysmith Black Mambazo perform one last time for Joseph Shabalala

On Saturday Ladysmith Black Mambazo gathered on stage at the funeral of Joseph Shabalala to perform one last time for the music icon who founded the group.

The Indoor Sports Centre in Ladysmith was filled with hundreds of fans, friends, and family members who rose to their feet to sing along to classics like Homeless.

In one moment, President Cyril Ramaphosa, who also delivered an address, stepped onto the stage while the group performed to dance along to one of the songs.

Shabalala died at the age of 78 on 11 February at a Pretoria hospital. He was laid to rest at the Ladysmith Cemetery.
