WATCH: Maps Maponyane chauffeurs students to their matric dance

Johannesburg – Imagine being driven to your matric dance by none other than TV personality Maps Maponyane. Well, that’s exactly what happened for one young couple.  

Thanking Maps for taking the time to drive him and his partner to their matric dance, a student, who goes by the Twitter handle @ovobuckets, wrote: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our Matric Dance pretty epic. Literally the best night of my young life. P.S Your the best uber driver that lived. [sic]”

The scholar shared a video of Maps getting out of the car as they arrived at their dance, as well as other clips from their journey.

Maps also shared pictures of the teens on his own Twitter account, saying: “Got to chaperone this beautiful Matric Dance couple @lungidhladhla and @ovobuckets to their dance over the weekend, and we had such a good time.”
