WATCH: Miss Pru's new music video is packed with important messages

Cape Town - Local singer Miss Pru has made a new music video with Emtee, Amanda Black, Saudi, Sjava and Sindi that deals with important social issues like same-sex marriage, xenophobia, racism and HIV.

The video has multiple storylines interlaced with clips of the different musicians performing their verses. Emtee's young son also makes a short appearance with his father.

Some of the images in the video involve violence and may distress sensitive viewers. Overall the video has a positive message and is definitely an important dialogue starter. The song is called Phumelela.
