Johannesburg – After awarding one of her fans a dress for her matric dance, Thando Thabethe paid the young lady a surprise visit, sharing the adorable video on social media.
In March Thando announced that she would be giving away three of her red carpet dresses to three fans. The only thing the ladies had to do to stand a chance of winning one of the stunning gowns was pay it forward by uplifting another young woman.
After picking the winners of the gowns, Thando made the decision to surprise one of the lucky ladies by visiting her at home.
“We made it happen. Thank you @Zarthdesigns @PixelCollective @Khetiwekhabela making this happen!!!! Life is about creating memories!!! I’m so happy I got to be part of Mpumi’s matric dance experience,” the TV personality captioned the video of her surprising the scholar at home.
In the short clip Mpumi is being interviewed by a TV crew while wearing the beautiful pink gown she was gifted. Thando then walks in catching her totally of guard.
The gown that Mpumi received was worn by Thando at the 2017 Miss South Africa pageant.
