Cape Town - Buhle Mda, vocalist for The Soil, was welcomed home after completing her sangoma initiation training.
Earlier this year, The Soil took to Facebook to announce that Buhle would be taking a break from the group to answer her ancestral calling (Read the full story here).
In the video, Buhle said: "As Africans, we have to answer to greater being than ourselves. Hence I will be taking some time out to concentrate on my own ancestral calling. From March, 2016, I will be absent from all performances with The Soil."
After an online talent search to find a replacement for Buhle, the group welcomed 20-year-old, Theo Matshoba in March.
The award-winning South African a capella group, announced that Buhle's official return will be in August, when she'll be reuniting with the rest of the group for their ongoing #ExperienceTheSoil tour which kicked off on 29, April.
