WATCH: We bet you forgot Amor Vittone was in an American Swiss TV ad

Cape Town - Local singer Amor Vittone endorsed jewellery retailer American Swiss' annual "Discount Diamond Promotion" in the 1980s. 

Don't believe us? Amor took us down memory lane, with a look back at her career!  

During the time she was announced as an American Swiss ambassador, Amor was also known as South Africa's "Lotto-girl," hosting Road2Riches alongside Nimrod Nkosi.

"Good times during the Lotto days, with great opportunities like this. American Swiss," Amor wrote on Facebook, sharing the TV commercial on social media on Tuesday. 

Speaking to Channel24 in a previous interview, Amor's mother Delyse Vittone remembers when Amor gave her a special gift from the retailer to thank her for her dedication and hard work.

"I was in the office busy with their contracts when Amor walked into the office and gave me a diamond ring she received from American Swiss. To thank me for going the extra mile for them," she said.
