WATCH: Zozibini shares inspiring message for the youth on US show

While in Pittsburgh, USA, Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi stopped by the CBS Pittsburgh studios to chat about her reign and share a special message with the youth.

The 26-year-old was invited to the city by the University of Pittsburgh as part of their Black History Month programme where she engaged in discussions with some of the students.

"It was such a lovely experience just to sit there, to share my story with them, to have them ask me questions about my life, my causes, things that I stand for, [and] what Black History Month means to me," she said.

Zozi also shared a powerful message with the youth, saying that the future is in their hands.

"Sometimes young people don't know the power that they have. Sometimes they shy away from their power because they are the future of the world – everything is in their hands. I always tell them to believe in themselves, believe in the power of their dreams and to believe that they are the ones to change everything that's happening in the world today."

During the interview, Zozibini also touched on how much her life has changed since winning the Miss Universe title, what "taking up space" means to her, and her love of Harry Potter.
