WATCH: Zwai Bala talks TKZee and being a professional entertainer since childhood

Cape Town – One of the biggest gospel artists in South Africa, Zwai Bala, sat down with Real Talk host Anele Mdoda and told her about his life.

The producer and singer spoke about his time with the Drakensberg Boys Choir and moving to St Stithians College where he met Kabelo Mabalane and Tokollo Tshabalala.

The three men then formed TKZee, a band that would give South Africa the hope that we could win a Fifa world cup in 1998 with the help of striker Benni McCarthy. We didn’t but the song, which is called Shibobo, became a hit.

ICYMI: TKZee is performing at the MTN Bushfire festival from Friday, 26 until Sunday, 28 May 2017.

Before the sit down chat Zwai sang happy birthday to Anele and performed one of his own songs.
