Cape Town - DJ Fresh couldn’t hold back his tears when he received a surprise visit from Bonang Matheba on his first day at 94.7.
The DJ's fans were not the only ones rooting for him to start his new afternoon drive show on radio 947, even his friends and other celebs were behind him.
In a video that was posted by the radio station on Twitter Bonang joins DJ Fresh in studio.
Fresh can be heard saying: "Hold on, is this Bonang?" and while they hug she asks: "Are you crying, are you crying?" to which he replied: "Oh, I love this woman."
The adorable exchanged happened while he was on air with his new co-host DJ Mantsoe Pout and the rest of the team.
Queen B came bearing gifts in the form of her own House of BNG champagne in celebration of Fresh's first day at work.
