Cape Town - Former Generations: The Legacy actress Asanda Foji is engaged.
She shared the good news on Instagram on Wednesday and also sent a sweet message praising her bae, who she hasn’t yet publicly named.
“Being your wife will be the greatest pleasure Mthembu, Qhudeni, Mvelase, S’ngadlamathiban’ indlali wile . . . We aren’t even close to being perfect but we are perfect for each other and I thank you for choosing me out of all these beauties out there, God really loves me!!!!! #blacklove #younglove,” the actress wrote.
Asanda left Generations in 2015 following months of speculation that her contract wouldn’t be renewed.
At the time Daily Sun reported that the actress hadn’t been aware of her axing until they contacted her for comment.
“I don’t know what you are talking about. I have not been told that. Maybe my agent is going to call me about that,” Simphiwe said at the time.
The actress has since moved to Amsterdam in the Netherlands where she is studying acting.
