Wizkid and Davido take home MOBO Awards

Johannesburg – Nigerian musos Wizkid and Davido both took home trophies at the 2017 Music Of Black Origin Awards (MOBO) – an award show held annually in the UK.

According to their site, the MOBO awards is known for “recognising and honouring the artistic and technical achievements of Hip Hop, Grime, RnB/Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Gospel, and African music.”

While Wizkid walked away with the award for Best International Act, Davido took home Best African Act.
