You can now cook like Gerry Rantseli

Johannesburg – Instagram seems to be bringing out the master chefs in our local stars. TV personality Gerry Rantseli-Elsdon is the latest celeb to share her cooking skills on the social media site, even creating a separate page dedicated to it. The first recipe up? Fluffly pancakes. #Yummy! And best of all – they're sugar-free!

“You all know I love cooking right? So I thought I’d share some of my recipes, starting with my fluffy sugar-free pancakes in xylitol syrup,” Gerry wrote, announcing the launch of her new page.

In February Dineo Ranaka also started sharing her recipes on Instagram, calling herself The Untrained Chef.

Seriously Fluffy Sugar-free Pancakes! MIX : 1 1/2 cups of self - raising flour, 2tsp baking powder, 2tsp Xylitol MIX : 1 egg ,1tsp vanilla essence, 1 1/4 cups of milk, 3tbsp melted butter. Whisk wet and dry ingredients together, Leave to stand for 20 min. Pour a 1/4 cup of the mixture into a hot oiled pan and enjoy! TOP WITH XYLITOL SYRUP FOR A DELICIOUS SUGAR-FREE TREAT
