Zakes Bantwini has got a lot to celebrate – he's turning 40, starting a record label, and has been accepted to the Harvard Business School.

The musician will be taking on the Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports course at the prestigious university.

"I am really looking forward to an immersive course that will help me develop effective business strategies in a rapidly changing environment that includes both new technology and the consequences of the current Covid-19 crisis," Bantwini said in a statement to the press.

Aside from taking on this course, the star, who turns 40 on 26 May, also celebrates the establishment of his international dance music label, All Electronic Music.

The label "will distribute electronic music from Africa on a global scale. Our focus is to support and sign releases making African music accessible for all," a statement explains.
