Zakes Bantwini opens up about being a new dad

Cape Town - Zakes Bantwini is trying to be a better man. 

Musician Zakes Bantwini and his wife, Nandi Madida, welcomed their baby boy in November and have chosen to keep their new-born clear of the spotlight.  

Speaking to V-Entertainment Zakes - who is not a first-time father - said, "But this time around it's special because I'm married now, getting a chance of really just raising my son."

He explained that people will probably not see pictures of the baby for at least a month or two because that's how they do things in the Zulu culture. "That's why you wouldn't see my child on Instagram or any other social media at least after a certain time." 

He went on to say the he just wants to be a better man.
