Cape Town - Google released the results of its annual "Year in Search," and local entertainer Zodwa Wabantu topped the trending searches of the decade.
Search trends information is gleaned from data collated by Google based on what South Africans have been searching for and asking Google in 2019.
Controversial dancer, Zodwa Wabantu, joins Meghan Markle, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj as some of the most searched personalities of the decade.
In 2017, the 33-year-old burst onto everyone's radar, wearing a black dress with a slit that exposed half of her bottom to the Durban July.
From that moment, thousands of eyeballs were on the former debt collector, waiting to see what she will wear, say, or do next.
In the following months, Zodwa continued to hit trending status, making headlines with her panty-less appearances and risque dance moves.
