No! Dawn Matthews is leaving Scandal! And South Africa!

After ten years Dawn Matthews aka Shakira is leaving Scandal!.

Drum magazine confirmed the news with e.tv.

And, that's only half of the bad news.

Apparently Dawn and her hubby, Charlie Sapadin are leaving the country for the USA, which is his home country.

e.tv's Michael Pocock told the mag that Dawn will be taking a sabbatical from the soapie. "Her character, Shakira will always be a part of the Scandal! family. Also, Dawn will be documenting her happenings on her Instagram account," he added.

Dawn's feisty and devious character will definitely be missed, but we wish her all the best!
