Johannesburg - He may have gone gold in two days straight, but iFani says there's no competiton between him, and 'golden boy' Cassper Nyovest.
After iFani's historical achievement last week, many fans suspected that there would be beef between him and Cassper Nyovest over who sold their albums better and faster.
It all seemed to kick off when Cassper took to Twitter on the day of iFani's achievement to tweet
What's harder? Telling people the awful truth that they're being lied 2 while they celebrate or keeping quiet while people are being fooled?
— Cassper Nyovest (@CassperNyovest) April 30, 2015
The tweet was interpreted by many as a side swipe by the rapper towards iFani.
But iFani has come out to calm his fans and reassure us all that Mzansi is big enough for the both of them.
"To everyone who thinks @CassperNyovest is throwin shade at me, I'd like to say it's NOT TRUE. Cassper & I are good. Si-right b'reiy," iFani tweeted a short time after.
And, even refused the crown of 'Golden Boy' when it was given to him by a fan, tweeting "Thankx b'reiy. But let's keep the Golden Boy title for Cassper. U can call me Mr #1stDayGold or Dream Chaser."
You see! Like our forefathers learnt, there's more than enough gold to go around in Mzansi...
