Johannesburg - All good things come to an end, right?
Well, after more than a decade and thousands of episodes later, 3Talk's Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu bid farewell on Monday to the show that launched her television career.
After 12 successful years Noeleen decided that it was time to retire from her reign as the 'Queen of Talk'.
And, Noeleen's final send-off was certainly fit for a queen. Over the years, there were tears, laughter and many memorable moments, which Noeleen recalled fondly during the finale
"The past 12 years haven't been easy but its been an absolute blast," Noeleen told viewers and invited studio guests.
A teary Noeleen explained that everything feels surreal to her at the moment. "For the past 12 years 3Talk has been my home and the team have been my family, and I have absolutely no idea what tomorrow holds for me," she said.
Noeleen added that she hasn't thought as far as tomorrow but for now plans to do "absolutely nothing".
Of course, her farewell was a celebrity bonanza with so many of her well-known friends attending her live show in Joburg to say goodbye. (Including us, obvs)
They included the likes of Kenny Kunene, Somizi, Donald, Basetsana Kumalo, Trevor Gumbi, Tol Ass Mo and so many more...
