Nomzamo Mbatha rubbishes Maps romance rumours

Johannesburg - Just as we thought Maps and Nomzamo had finally confirmed their romance, the actress has come out to deny her and Maps are a "thing."

Nomzamo and Maps nearly melted the internet this week when they graced the cover of the latest True Love magazine.

Not only did the pair look the picture of a perfect couple, but their suggestive body language had fans speculating that their on-screen romance had finally spilled into real-life.

But sadly it's not true!

Nomzamo took to Twitter a few hours after the cover surfaced to shoot down any rumours (or dreams) that the cover was confirming their romance. 

In a post, which she has since deleted, she wrote:

She went on to tell fans that she does "like" someone, but *spoiler alert* it's herself!

2. I'm fortunate enough to have the ability to 'Like' myself. Not a lot of people like themselves.. and their internal 'ugliness' shows it.

The pair have been rumoured to be dating for as long as we can remember, with Maps even calling Nomzamo his "soulmate" (read more about that here).

Forget about confirming the romance, can Maps and Nomzamo just get married already?
