Johannesburg- Nonhle Thema doesn't understand why it's a big deal that some of Mzansi's celebs were at the BETs in Los Angeles this past weekend.
The actress and TV personality took to Instagram on Sunday where she let followers know that she's been there and done that years ago!
We're not sure what spurred on Nonhle's bitter rant. But it seems like she was throwing shade at the hype created around Minnie, Bonang, David Tlale and Donald rocking the BET red carpet and flying the Mzansi flag high. (Read that story here)
Nonhle posted a series of snaps of herself from years ago at the annual awards ceremony and told followers that "folks act all brand new about going to America…I'm like boo I liked in LA for almost 7 years of my life in my 20s…its okay. relax. u ain't the first one to go there…chill…ok."
Nonhle also wrote on Instagram that she's actually glad that she dropped the 'IT' girl status from her name, because she's a far happier person.
