Johannesburg - Loyiso Gola's hit satire news show, Late Nite News has been cancelled by eNCA.
The news channel announced on Friday that it will no longer be airing the news spoof show, but plan to do satirical news in a different format.
In a statement, eNCA revealed that it has been in negotiations with LNN's production company for several months, but could not come to an agreement on a new format for the show.
Late Nite News last aired in April, but a few months ago, Loyiso told The Juice that the show would soon return to our screens, hopefully with a live studio audience (read more about that here).
Now it seems like that day will never come....
But the man himself is upbeat. Here's what he had to say:
